We extend a warm invitation to you and your children to join us at any opportunity. The entire family can be involved in our various classes and special events that allow time for creating friendships and strengthening bonds with the church family. Please consider being a part of a growing and exciting ministry as we seek to know, follow and share Jesus Christ together. Age-Appropriate Classes Bible classes are available on Sunday mornings and each Wednesday evening as well. We offer classes for all ages, including infants through 6th grade. Our wonderful teachers and helpers are passionate about sharing God's Word with our children. Worship We offer child care for your small children so that you can worship with the Palmetto family without interruption. Adult volunteers and teen volunteers serve in this important ministry for your infants and toddlers. We have an infant nursery designed for infants through beginning walkers and a toddler nursery for children who are experienced walkers through 2 years old. Children’s Worship is also offered for young children ages 3 years – Kindergarten. Rotating teams of volunteers lead the children in songs, a Bible lesson and related activities. Children are dismissed during the congregational assembly. Our Children's Worship time is called Kidz with a King. We have Family Worship on the first Sunday of each month. Children stay with their families during Family Worship. Special Events We offer a variety of event and activities throughout the year. Visitors are always welcome to our special events. Friendships (of children and parents) are created and grown during these times of fun and fellowship. Some of our annual events include Parents' Night Out, Easter Egg Hunt, Service Projects, Vacation Bible School, Palmetto Bible Camp, Back to School Prayer Event and ERLTC. Eastern Region Leadership Training for Christ (LTC) We are very blessed to participate in a leadership program for our young people. Students in the 3rd - 12th grade can be involved in this year-around program where our young girls and boys discover and develop their God-given talents in a unique and engaging atmoshpere. The annual convention is held in Charlotte, NC each spring.
Check out the ERLTC website.
Life Groups are groups of 6 to 16 people who meet in homes on the 2nd and 4th Sunday evenings for the purpose of developing friendships and our relationship with God. Groups follow a discussion guide based on the sermon content of that morning. The discussion guide will focus on the application of the lesson in everyday learning. To find a Life Group or to learn more contact our Life Group Ministry leader Mike Hollis at 803-781-0909
The Men's Ministry meets on Wednesday nights at 7 PM in the portable. The purpose of this ministry is to help men grow in their faith through bonding and developing relationships with other men. Proverbs 27:17 says, "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." We believe that Christian men need other Christian men in their lives to provide encouragement, godly counsel and to lend a helping hand when they stumble.
